Orthodontic Assistants and Back Office Staff Sherry Hi! My name is Julie. I have been a part of the Hilgers orthodontics team since 2007. I love working with both children and adults to help improve their smiles and self-confidence. Here at Hilgers Orthodontics we are all dedicated to giving our patients the highest quality orthodontic care. I came to Hilgers Orthodontics with over 20 years of experience in orthodontics. Originally from California, I now live right here in sunny Arizona! I have two fantastic children, two of the smartest grandchildren, and one wonderful white lab! In my spare time I am quite an adventurist, and you can almost always find me outdoors riding ATVs, fishing, biking, and hiking. If you have any questions about your treatment, I’m here to help! Debbie Hi there, I’m Debbie! I am a people person, so it’s no wonder that for over 30 years I have been working in the orthodontic field. I love being part of such a wonderful team, who works hands-on with all of our patients to help create tons of great smiles. Hilgers Orthodontics is a great place to work, and an even better place to come for all of your orthodontic treatment. What I love most about this profession is getting to work with such wonderful patients and seeing the great, big smiles on their faces when their braces are removed. It’s a truly rewarding experience. Outside of the practice, I enjoy being around the happy smiles of my wonderful family, Mike (husband), Mandy (daughter), Bryan, Brad, and Rob (sons), and our mini schnauzer, Max! I also like to read, hike, relax by the pool, and run around with my eight precious grandchildren. Laura Hello, my name is Laura and I am an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Hilgers. Every day I look forward to coming to work and spending the day with such a positive group of people! From Dr. Hilgers and the team, to our amazing patients, everybody who comes to Hilgers Orthodontics leaves with a big, happy smile on their face! in 2005 I joined the Hilgers Orthodontics team with over 19 years of experience. I am originally from California, and have lived in Nevada and Illinois before settling in Arizona. I am happily married to my husband Don. We have three children, Kiel, Amanda, and Kellen, and three pets, Michael Jordan, Sir Bello, and Lucy. In my free time I enjoy renewing my physical energy with hot yoga, and my spiritual energy by reading Gods words daily. Alison Hi, my name is Alison, and I have been an orthodontic assistant at Hilgers Orthodontics since 2007. My favorite thing about orthodontics is the constant change. This change is not only seen in the patients’ smiles, but how each patient changes personally within themselves that is so amazing. I appreciate that our patients are unique, and so are their cases. There is always something new to learn, and every day is full of rewarding experiences. Even when I am away from the practice life changing experiences seem to surround me! In February 2009 my husband, Jason, and I had our first child, Landon, who we both love spending time with and watching grow more each day. We also have two miniature Chihuahuas, Luck and Emmy. I enjoy scrapbooking and jazzercise, as well as baking cakes a cupcakes and helping my husband (who is a teacher) with school activities and sporting events. Julie Hello, I’m Julie! Since 2007 I have been working at Hilgers Orthodontics as an orthodontic assistant. I really love seeing and learning how so many different techniques can achieve such fabulous results for each of our patients. Working at Hilgers Orthodontics gives me the opportunity to work with so many amazing people and really make a difference in our patient’s lives. Outside of the practice, I keep very busy with a husband and three active boys! I love spending time with my family, watching them play baseball and softball, and going on outdoor adventures. Originally, from the Mid-West, I am a huge Minnesota Twins fan and I try to catch as many games as I possibly can. Mary Hello, my name is Mary and I am one of the scheduling coordinators that you will meet at Hilgers Orthodontics! I love working here with Dr. Hilgers, our staff, and all of our great patients. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that everybody who comes to us is going to leave with a healthy, beautiful smile. When I am away from the office I look forward to spending time with my family, and shopping! My husband, Robert, and I have two sons, Robert Jr. and Ryan. We also have a sweet little white boxer dog named Girl. I am very active in the community, and I spend a lot of time doing volunteer work at the local domestic violence shelter to help raise money for women and children. Office Coordinators and Front Office Staff Tanya Hi, I’m Tanya, and I have been a treatment coordinator at Hilgers Orthodontics since 2005! I enjoy working with people and the relationships that we build with our patients throughout their treatment. As a treatment coordinator, I have the opportunity to meet our patients at their first visit and I absolutely love to make them feel excited about our practice and receiving orthodontic treatment. It’s so rewarding to watch the joy and confidence built in our patients as they transform their smiles. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Tim and I have two kids, Tyler and Tanner, and a cocker spaniel named Mason. Much of my free time is spent watching my boys play baseball, shopping with my mom, hiking, and playing with Mason. I also really love site seeing and reading a good book. Chrissy Hi there, I’m Chrissy! I’ve been working in the orthodontic field since 2007, and here at Hilgers Orthodontics since 2008. I love how cheery and helpful the staff is here, and I appreciate the relationships that our office has built with each patient. It’s such a great experience to watch each patient’s progression through their treatment; and to see the looks on their faces when their beautiful smiles are revealed for the first time. When I’m not here, sharing smiles with our awesome patients, I can be found at home smiling and having fun with my family! My husband, Brian, and I have two children, Cade and Cole. We also have two dogs, Drago and Payton, and two ferrets, Shrek and Gingie. My boys are involved in sports, so it’s likely that I can often be spotted cheering them on at their soccer and football games! Jennifer Welcome! My name is Jennifer and I really look forward to working with you and your family. I’ve been working with Dr. Hilgers since 2005, and I really think that this office has the best orthodontic team ever. I truly enjoy working with the rest of the staff to give our patients “the perfect smile.” Seeing that our patients are happy with the final results of their treatment is just one of things that makes my job so rewarding. Outside of the practice I enjoy spending time with my daughter, skiing, being outdoors, and visiting with family and friends. My Daughter and I love animals; we have five dogs and one leopard gecko. I am a big NASCAR fan, and my favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt Jr. I am also involved with community volunteer work at the domestic violence shelter where I help raise money for women and children. Brittney Hi there, my name’s Brittney, and I am the financial coordinator for Hilgers Orthodontics. My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is seeing how truly excited our patients are about receiving treatment. As the financial coordinator, I always look forward to telling patients and parents that their accounts are paid-in-full and their treatments are officially complete! Before starting at Hilgers Orthodontics, and even before coming to Arizona, I lived in Montana, Nevada, and New Mexico. I am a graduate of Arizona State University (ASU), and I love living here in Arizona. At home I have a dog named Buddy, and in my spare time I enjoy taking Buddy for walks and going to sporting events - Go Cardinals!
