Meet the Staff
Tanya - Treatment Coordinator
As a treatment coordinator, I get to see our new patients at their first visit and I love getting them excited about our office. I also love coming to work for such an incredible doctor and loving, friendly staff. We have a great team! I enjoy working with people and the relationships we build with our patients during their treatment. It is also very rewarding watching the joy and confidence in our patients as their smiles are transformed. My husband, Tim, and I have been married for over 21 years. We have two children, Tyler and Tanner, and a Cocker spaniel named Mason. I enjoy spending time with my family, whether we are hiking, fishing, camping, or just hanging out. I also love shopping with my mom and watching a good movie.
Patti - Financial Coordinator
I take care of the financial aspects of our patients’ orthodontic treatment. Seeing the difference that orthodontics makes in a person’s life is the best part of working here. They finish with more that just a great smile, but improved confidence and self-esteem as well. I am originally from Wisconsin and live here with my husband, Justin, and our two dogs, Sadie and Amber. I love to travel, especially to the ocean. I also enjoy bike riding, playing cards, hiking, and spending time with my family.
Mary - Scheduling Coordinator/Treatment Coordinator
As our scheduling coordinator, I make sure our office runs on time for the convenience of our patients. Working with Dr. Hilgers and the rest of our great staff is really a lot of fun, but the highlight of my day is seeing how everyone can have a healthy, beautiful smile through orthodontics. My husband, Robert, and I have two children, Ryan and Robert Jr., a white Boxer, and a Chihuahua. I enjoy spending time with my family and shopping. I also volunteer with the Domestic Violence Shelter and help raise money for women and children.
Shelly - Scheduling Coordinator
I am one of our team’s scheduling coordinators. I try to make each patient’s appointments as convenient as possible and work with their schedule to get them in and out on time! I love getting to know each and every one of our patients, watching them grow and seeing their smiles change. I have built some really special relationships with my patients and their families, as well as with the rest of our team. My husband’s name is Jason and we have four children, Tyler, Julia, Sophia, and Joshua. We also have two dogs, Bella and Rusty. I love being outdoors when it is not cold and I love camping with my family.
Theresa - Clinical Assistant
I have enjoyed working in the orthodontic field as a clinical assistant for over 22 years, the past two of which have been with Dr. Hilgers. I have gotten to know so many patients and their families and love catching up with them during their monthly appointments. It‘s fun to see them get so excited about their smile transformations! I have three daughters, three adorable grandchildren, and two dogs. I love to be outdoors, exploring roads less traveled in my car or hiking.
Debbie - Clinical Assistant
I have been a clinical assistant for over 30 years and have worked with Dr. Hilgers for the past six. I am a real people person and I love being part of a team that makes great smiles! I enjoy the hands-on aspect of my job, as well as seeing the huge smiles on our patients’ faces when they get their braces removed. My husband’s name is Michael and we have four children, Mandy, Bryan, Brad, and Rob, two dogs, and eight grandchildren! I enjoy reading, hiking, sitting by the pool, and playing with my wonderful grandchildren. I am also a huge Cubs and Bears Fan!
Laura - Clinical Assistant
I have been working as a clinical assistant for almost 20 years and love to see the happy, smiling faces of each and every one of our patients. I feel so lucky to be able to spend my days with such a positive group of women and a really great boss. I have been married to my husband, Don, for 33 amazing years. We have three children, Kiel, Amanda, and Kellen, a grandson named Zealand, and three pets. I enjoy practicing hot yoga and attend Christ Church of the Valley.
Blanca - Clinical Assistant
I work directly with patients as a clinical assistant. Each day provides new experiences and opportunities to learn from Dr. Hilgers, our staff, and our patients. My job involves a lot of different aspects of the office, so each day is new and interesting. Aside from working with our awesome team, I love to see the end results of orthodontic treatment- the beautiful smiles! My husband, Daniel, and I have two children, Anthony and Gabriel, two dogs named Diego and Santana, and a fish named Swimmie! I enjoy practicing hot yoga, scrap-booking, and going to concerts.
Gian - Clinical Assistant
I am one of Dr. Hilgers’ clinical assistants. The transformations I see on a day to day basis in this field are truly amazing. Working in orthodontics gives me a smile everyday I wake up, just to see our happy patients and their smiles coming in and out of our office.The best part of my job is working with the kids, seeing their personalities, and watching them grow up. I have one beautiful daughter, Mariela who I love to take to the park and go bike riding with. I also absolutely love hockey and most sports in general.
Sherry - Records Technician
As our records technician, I work with all our new patients to prep them for their orthodontic treatment. I have worked here since 2005 and have been in the orthodontic field since 2003. My favorite part is taking the before and after pictures. It is amazing how quickly time goes buy and how fast they all grow up. I love spending weekends at our beautiful cabin up north in the cool mountain air with my two children.
